Last surviving member of The Andrews Sisters dead at 94

The last surviving member of the Andrews Sisters, Patty Andrews, died today at age 94. Andrews died in her suburban Northridge home of natural causes, according to family spokesman Alan Eichler. Andrews was one part of a trio of sisters who made up the most influential, all female, singing group of the '30s, '40s and '50s. The group was responsible for hits such as "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B" and "Don't Fence Me In."
